Where is Fjords?
Fjords is available in numerous bookstores and libraries in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Fjords is distributed by Ingram, Media Solutions, Ubiquity and Disticor. Indexed in the Humanities International Complete Fjords' editions are available in over 13,000 universities worldwide.
All submissions receive a digital copy of our Spring/Summer 2016 print edition.
Contributors receive three copies of the issue in which their work appears. The Editor's Choice receives five copies. Consideration for nomination to the Pushcart Prize, Best New Poets, PEN/O'Henry Prize, Best American Short Stories, Best American Essays, Best American Non-required Reading and Verse Daily are given to all contributors. We nominate to every award from each issue.
On the first page of your submission, please include your name, mailing address and email address at the top followed by a brief one paragraph bio. This is your cover letter and should be included in the submission packet. Please include all items in one document.
We accept simultaneous submissions, please notify us if the work is accepted elsewhere.
We look forward to reviewing your work and try to reply within 60 days, though this sometimes takes longer.

Flash fiction appears each month as a web feature. Send us no more than three of your best flash fiction pieces.
All items should be in one document. Please put the writer's name, contact information and bio followed by the translators contact information and bio on the first page. Please send the original text on one page and the translation on the next page. Submit up to 5 pieces or ten pages of work in translation.
Send us reviews on any book you think we'd like (new or old), articles and reviews on any creative subject (art, film, literature, surprise us), interviews with
anyone you think has something to say. Try to follow our guidelines below, but
if it’s not possible just send us what you think we’d like and we’ll go
